Bentwood Mahogany-Toned Wood Dining Chairs
1 available
Italian dining chairs with substantial bentwood frames, broad curved backrests and a deep mahogany-toned lacquer finish. The formed wooden back panels sit between elongated rounded uprights that continue into the rear legs, with softly rounded frame edges and articulated corner joints. Newly upholstered in a beige-and-brown micro-check fabric that closely complements the original character of the chairs and has the appearance of period upholstery. Their robust wooden construction gives the chairs a particularly solid and sturdy feel, while the combination of curved wood and architectural backrests recalls the design language of Vico Magistretti's seating for Cassina, although these chairs are not attributed to Magistretti.
