0 available
Iconic 'Bastiano' sofa designed by the household name Tobia Scarpa for Gavina's experimental design lab in 1962 until the production license was acquired by Knoll International. Composed here of a black painted rosewood frame which supports free black leather cushions.
A Gavina label is present on this piece, indicating that it is an early model, possibly preceding the Knoll acquisition in 1968 or following it shortly.
In good vintage condition with smaller expected signs of age. This can be seen on a few scratches which reveal a layer of orange base paint underneath. The leather is in good condition with a few scuffs. Leather on the backside of one armrest shows more weare, indicated in the photos.
