Anaconda coffee table designed by Paul Tuttle for Strässle, with a round smoked-glass top and tubular chrome-plated steel base. The curved tubular structure forms overlapping circular and serpentine elements beneath the glass, with a central curved support connecting the upper and lower sections. The design is documented in Strässle's 1975 catalogue and is associated with the Space Age furniture of the 1970s.
Very good vintage condition with expected signs of age and use. The smoked-glass top has fine scratches and surface marks. The chrome-plated base has some surface scratching and scuffing, with localized plating loss, pitting and small areas of corrosion, particularly along the lower circular sections and curved tubing. The glass edge is intact. The table is structurally sound.
