‘8600’ Chair by Hans Ulrich Bitsch for Kusch & Co
0 available
Vintage '8600' chair designed by Hans Ulrich Bitsch for Kusch & Co, produced in Germany during the 1980s. The model reflects the High-Tech and postmodern design tendencies of the period, combining exposed tubular elements with a clear structural framework and contrasting materials.
Red powder-coated metal frames with cylindrical legs support a suspended seat and backrest in dark blue fabric, tensioned over chrome-plated tubular steel elements. The visible chrome rods and cross-bracing beneath the seat emphasize the chair's engineered construction, while the planar upholstery panels create a sharp geometric profile.
Excellent condition with smaller expected signs of age, as depicted in the photos. Scratches and small patches of missing paint present on the legs. Slight discolouration on the fabric. Both are shown in the photos.
