Memphis Thonet Vienna Dining Chairs, 1990s Austria
Set of four exceptionally rare and collectible, postmodern Memphis design original Thonet dining chairs. Sculptural and geometrically shaped. Produced by Thonet Vienna in 1996. Quality made and in good vintage condition with expected signs of age and use, as highlighted in the photos. Signs of age include some scuffs on the corners of the seat upholstery, and general surface scratches and scuffs.
Signation on both chairs present in three forms:
- 'Thonet Vienna' engraving on the chair
- original 'Thonet' sticker signed by the factory quality checker
- small golden plate of Michael Thonet on the front of the backrest.
