The chairs combine the material contrast of moulded plastic and stained beech with a compact, architectural construction characteristic of Lange's 1970s work. The black plastic shells show light to moderate surface wear, including scratches, scuffs and areas of rubbing, particularly around the edges and on some seat and back surfaces. The wooden frames and legs show scattered scratches, abrasions and areas of finish wear consistent with use.
