german-modernist-executive-desk-1789
German Modernist Executive Desk

German Modernist executive desk dating from the 1970s, constructed with a broad rosewood-veneered top, suspended drawer pedestals and exposed chrome-plated supports. Shallow drawers are integrated beneath the front edge, while the figured veneer continues across the drawer fronts, sides and fully finished rear. The combination of substantial wood volumes and a linear chrome base gives the desk a distinctly architectural 1970s office character.

The desk is structurally sound and presents in good vintage condition, with noticeable general wear consistent with age and use. The wood surfaces show scratches, rubbing along the drawer edges, and small chips and localized veneer losses, particularly around edges and corners. The chrome base shows minor surface wear. The drawers open and close correctly; the locking mechanism is present, but the original key is not included, so its operation has not been tested. The asking price has been adjusted to reflect the condition.

Professionally cleaned.

Width: 90 cm / 35.4 inches
Depth: 180 cm / 70.9 inches
Height: 75 cm / 29.5 inches

May be partly disassembled for shipping.

We try our best to accurately depict any imperfections on our photos.
